We met in May of 2019 on your app. The conversation was so easy and he was so sweet; we quickly exchanged numbers and hopped off the app. We did our Fatiha in Amman, Jordan on 11/23.

I found my soulmate and I would like to thank Salams for making this happen. There is still hope for everyone. I was on this app for few years & had deleted after some bad experiences. I re-downloaded to give this another chance and At the point I lost hope & was disappointed. Then I matched with this guy Shaharier on November 28th 2021 . Didn’t expect much success because of previous fails. I’m from Philadelphia and he is from New York.

I met my husband the same week I downloaded the Salams app and I liked that you can put how many times a day you pray etc. Our Islamic views aligned with each others. My husband drove with his father from Virginia to my fathers house in Pennsylvania to meet me and my family.

I’ve never used a dating app before. At first, I was kind of scared. Or worried how will I know if this is real people. But when I was setting up my account, it did ask me to send a verification photo, which was pretty cool. I also liked that we both had to match to “talk” sometimes that got hard when I didn’t get a match back that I was waiting for, which could be discouraging. But Alhamdillah everything happens at the right time with the right person you’re meant to be with.
